Virtual Observatory tools for Solar System bodies
2005Research in dynamics and astrometry of objects of the Solar system leads us to provide ephemerides and data useful for the preparation of astrophysical observations from the Earth or from space, and for the analysis of these observations. The advent of the Virtual Observatory project offers new interesting possibilities.

Abstract The Digitized First Byurakan Survey (DFBS) is the digitized version of the Markarian Survey and it is the largest spectroscopic survey by its sky coverage (17, 000 deg2) and by the number of spectra (∼40,000,000). It provides a unique possibility to compare objects between different epochs, as the observations have been carried out in 1965 ...

Time series visualization tools through a Virtual Observatory in geodesy
2013This poster presents the context of the astronomical Virtual Observatory (VO), an ambitious international proposal to provide uniform, convenient access to disparate, geographically dispersed archives of astronomical data from software which runs on the computer on the astronomer's desktop.

In the frame of the prepara-on of the NASA/JUNO and ESA/JUICE (Jupiter Icy Moon Explorer) missions, and the development of a planetary sciences virtual observatory (VO), we are proposing a new set of tools directed to data providers as well as users, in order to ease data sharing and discovery. We will focus on ground based planetary radio observa-ons (

The IDIS Joint Research Activity: Tools for a Planetary Virtual Observatory
2009The IDIS Joint Research Activity (JRA-IDIS) of EuroPlaNet RI prepares essential tools implemented as web services allowing the Planetary Science community to interrogate some selected data centres, access and process data, and visualise the results.

The Besançon Model of our Galaxy: a simulation tool towards the Virtual Observatory
2006The Besançon model of our Galaxy is an on-line simulation tool used for various scientific applications. We present here its ongoing implementation in the Virtual Observatory and, as a typical study case of modelisation tool in the VO, we discuss its confrontation with VO standards and tools currently being developed.
