Incoherent Digital Holography Empowered by Wavefront and Information Engineering: A Review
Advancements in incoherent digital holography (IDH) have been achieved via wavefront engineering (using spatial light modulators, diffractive optics, and metasurfaces) and information engineering (using compressive sensing and deep learning). This paper presents an overview of IDH with wavefront and information engineering, paving the way toward its ...

Design of a Bilayer Metalens for Red, Green, and Blue‐Achromatic Imaging with Wide Field of View
Herein, an RGB‐achromatic bilayer metalens with a wide 80‐degree field‐of‐view and a high 0.65 numerical aperture is presented. Using silicon nitride meta‐atoms, it maintains consistent focal lengths for red, green, and blue light, even at oblique angles.

Every day we combine and switch between body-centered (egocentric) and object-centered (allocentric) spatial representations. Several studies so far have reported a greater difficulty to switch from an allocentric reference frame to an egocentric one ...

Focusing on Cracks with Instance Normalization Wavelet Layer
Automatic crack detection is challenging, owing to the complex and thin topologies, diversity, and background noises of cracks. Inspired by the wavelet theory, we present an instance normalization wavelet (INW) layer and embed the layer into the deep ...

Remote Control of Hand Actuators via Glove Sensors for Medical Care Applications
This study presents a novel textile‐based sensory glove–actuator system for remote medical care, explored through finite element simulations. By integrating capacitive sensors, pneumatic actuators, and machine learning, the system models real‐time hand movement control.
