Modeling and performance improvement of the constant power regulator systems in variable displacement axial piston pump. [PDF]

open access: yesScientificWorldJournal, 2013
An irregular performance of a mechanical‐type constant power regulator is considered. In order to find the cause of an irregular discharge flow at the cut‐off pressure area, modeling and numerical simulations are performed to observe dynamic behavior of internal parts of the constant power regulator system for a swashplate‐type axial piston pump.

Control of Helicopter Using Virtual Swashplate

open access: yesDrones
This article presents a virtual swashplate mechanism for a mini helicopter in classic configuration. The propeller bases are part of a passive mechanism driven by main rotor torque modulaton, this mechanism generates a synchronous and opposite change in ...

Squeeze Film Effect and Its Influence on the Lubrication Characteristics of Slipper Oil Film under Pressure Pulse

open access: yesShock and Vibration, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
This study aims at the lubricant film between the slipper and swashplate of an axial piston pump. Based on a single piston/slipper assembly model, a mathematical model for the squeeze film effect is developed according to the pressure‐flow transfer process as well as the dynamics of the piston/slipper assembly.

Device for Simulating Fluid Microgravity Environment Based on Magnetic Compensation Method and Research on Magnetic Fluid Lubrication Performance of Oil Film Bearing

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
At present, with the rapid development of the material market, the requirements of high performance and high precision of materials are increasingly exposed. Nanomagnetic fluid materials are more and more widely used in oil film bearings, but their compressive strength and performance are insufficient, which is difficult to meet the current ...

The proof of concept of uninterrupted push‐pull electromagnetic propulsion and energy conversion systems for drones and planet landers

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 6, Issue 1, January 2024.
We present a proof of concept to demonstrate the capability of a newly invented variable speed push‐pull electromagnetic propulsion system for uninterruptedly generating the reciprocating motion of a magnetic‐piston by a solar battery‐driven polarity changer timing circuit together with a laser‐based timing circuit for redundancy.
