High‐Order Pressure–Volume Relationship for Simulation of Stretch and Extrusion Blow Molding Processes

open access: yesPolymer Engineering &Science, EarlyView.
High‐order thermodynamically consistent pressure–volume modeling improves numerical stability and prediction accuracy in stretch and extrusion blow molding simulations. The proposed formulation captures transient pressure evolution and enables reliable thickness prediction with good agreement against experimental measurements.

Nanotechnology‐Driven Analysis of MHD Maxwell‐Casson Nanofluid Flow With Activation Energy Using Artificial Neural Networks

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 10, October 2026.
This study investigates Casson nanofluid flow over a porous inclined plate under magnetic field, thermal radiation, buoyancy, and chemical reaction with activation energy. A feedforward artificial neural network (ANN) is employed to solve the coupled nonlinear governing equations and predict velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles.

On the variation of Visco-Elasticity of the Human Muscle : Analysis by Model Simulation

open access: yes, 1991
One approach to realize a compliant manipulation robot is a impedance control. In the impedance control a damping and an elasticity coefficients of the robot joints are selected as a desired value.

The Porosity and Stiffness of Articular Cartilage Extracellular Matrix Derived Scaffolds Modulate Chondrogenesis of Mesenchymal Stromal Cells

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Materials Research Part A, Volume 114, Issue 10, October 2026.
ABSTRACT Articular cartilage (AC) regeneration remains a major challenge in musculoskeletal tissue engineering. Cartilage extracellular matrix (ECM)‐derived scaffolds have shown promise as tissue‐specific biomaterials, but the extent to which the fabrication process can be tuned to modulate scaffold pore architecture and mechanics and how this might ...

Décollement Rheology Controls Crustal Deformation on Early Mars

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Planets, Volume 131, Issue 10, October 2026.
Abstract The circum‐Tharsis wrinkle ridge system represents one of the strongest tectonic imprints of early Mars, formed as the planet's largest volcanic province reshaped the lithosphere and redistributed stresses across thousands of kilometers. The coherent spatial pattern of these ridges suggests deformation governed by a laterally continuous basal ...

On Plane Strain Problems in magneto-thermo-visco-elasticity [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
Plane strain problems on magneto-thermo-visco-elastic interactions in a parallel union of the Kelvin and Maxwell bodies are investigated using the basic equations of electrodynamics and thermo-visco-elasticity. Assuming that the applied magnetic field is

Deep Network Reparameterized Full‐Waveform Inversion From Sequential to Simultaneous Sources With Adjoint‐State Method

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 3, Issue 5, October 2026.
Abstract Full‐waveform inversion (FWI) relies on sequential‐source (SQ) workflows for high imaging precision, while simultaneous‐source (SML) encoding drastically accelerates computation but introduces irreversible wavenumber discontinuity artifacts in hybrid‐domain implementations.
