A Computational Model for the Analysis of Spreading of Viscoelastic Droplets over Flat Surfaces
The spreading of viscous and viscoelastic fluids on flat and curved surfaces is an important problem in many industrial and biomedical processes. In this work the spreading of a linear viscoelastic fluid with changing rheological properties over flat ...

Acetoacetates Derived From Vegetable Oils: A Platform for Tailor‐Made Vinylogous Urethane Foams
A renewable vegetable oil is converted into acetoacetate‐functionalized precursors for the preparation of catalyst‐free vinylogous urethane foams. Room‐temperature foaming with n‐pentane generates lightweight cellular materials, while the choice of amine enables control over foam structure and mechanical properties.

Genetically Programmed Shape‐Morphing of Engineered Living Materials
Here, bacterial and mammalian engineered living materials (ELMs) are presented, in which living cells direct genetically programmed and enzymatically mediated shape‐morphing. The resulting deformation and shape‐recovery can be actuated in a genetically controlled manner by an ELM incorporating out‐of‐equilibrium counteracting biochemical reactions with
