Manufacturing Of Robust Natural Fiber Preforms Utilizing Bacterial Cellulose as Binder [PDF]
We present a novel method of manufacturing rigid and robust short natural fiber preforms using a papermaking process. Bacterial cellulose acts simultaneously as the binder for the loose fibers and provides rigidity to the fiber preforms.

The plasticisation model of dye diffusion: Part 8
Abstract Re‐evaluation using the Williams–Landel–Ferry equation, of exhaustion/rate of dyeing/fixation data previously reported for and acid dye, natural dye and two reactive dyes on three different types of silk substrate revealed that thermally activated dye diffusivity is governed by the thermally regulated structural relaxation times of the ...

Fabrication of composite. ABSTRACT In this study, polyvinyl acetate (PVAc)‐based nanocomposite latexes containing varying loads of cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs), a sodium salt of sulfated nanocrystalline cellulose, were synthesized and utilized as a matrix for fabricating fiber‐reinforced composites with viscose fabric.

Adsorption of SOX and NOX in activated viscose fibers [PDF]
SOx and NOx are emissions resulting from combustion processes and are the main agents that contribute to the formation of acid rain, which causes harm to humans and the environment. Several techniques for removing these pollutants are applied in i.e. oil refineries, thermoelectric that use petroleum oils and vehicular pollution.
