Improvement Viscosity Index of Lubricating Engine Oil Using Low Molecular Weight Compounds
the effect of polarity of solvent on the viscosity and viscosity index of lubricating engine oil has been studied using ethanol as an example of polar solvent and toluene as an example of non-polar solvent at different solvent ratios and ambient ...

Dual refractive index and viscosity sensing using polymeric nanofibers optical structures [PDF]
Porous materials have demonstrated to be ideal candidates for the creation of optical sensors with very high sensitivities. This is due both to the possibility of infiltrating the target substances into them and to their notable surface-to-volume ratio ...

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Viscosity and Liquidity Index Relation for Elucidating Mudflow Behavior [PDF]
The mechanism of mudflow, which is a type of mass movement, is different from that of landslide. A landslide has a discrete failure surface, whereas a mudflow has flow characteristics. Hence, the conventional approach of explaining the characteristics of

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Synthesis, Characterization, Rheological Behavior and Light Scattering Index of Methacrylate Copolymers [PDF]
In the present study, a series of methacrylate-based homo- and co-polymers were synthesized and their efficiency as viscosity index improvers, rheological behavior, and light scattering index were investigated.

Influence of viscosity and the adiabatic index on planetary migration
The strength and direction of migration of low mass embedded planets depends on the disk's thermodynamic state, where the internal dissipation is balanced by radiative transport, and the migration can be directed outwards, a process which extends the ...
