Non-newtonian viscosity of polymer-modified bitumens
Materials and Structures, 1993The viscosity of road bitumen is a rational, physical property which plays an important role in the technological and quality assessment of a binder. On the other hand, it is believed that the viscosity might substitute for the penetration of a bitumen as a classification property in the appropriate standards.

Polymethacrylate Viscosity Modifiers and Pour Point Depressants
2017The synthesis of a polymethacrylate (PMA) intended for potential use in the field of lubricant additives took place in the mid-1930s. Bruson's invention did indeed thicken mineral oils, and it was effective in increasing viscosity at higher temperatures more so than at lower, colder temperatures.

Diluents and viscosity modifiers for epoxy resins
1998Epoxy resins crosslink into thermosetting materials by reacting with various hardening agents such as amines, anhydrides, polyamides and catalytic curing agents. The desired properties in the ultimate finished products are obtained by selecting the appropriate combination of resin and hardener.
