The Hopf-Lax formula gives the unique viscosity solution
It is proved that the Hopf{Lax formula provides the unique viscosity solution of the Cauchy problem u 0 t (t; x) + H(u 0 x (t; x)) = 0; (t; x) 2 (0; T ] R n ; lim t#0 u(t; x) = '(x) for all x 2 R n. Let H : R n ! R be a convex function such that H(p)=jpj

Moduli of continuity for viscosity solutions [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate the moduli of continuity for viscosity solutions of a wide class of nonsingular quasilinear evolution equations and also for the level set mean curvature flow, which is an example of singular degenerate equations. We prove that the modulus of continuity is a viscosity subsolution of some one dimensional equation. This work

The tumor microenvironment is a dynamic, multifaceted complex system of interdependent cellular, biochemical, and biophysical components. Three‐dimensional in vitro models of the tumor microenvironment enable a better understanding of these interactions and their impact on cancer progression and therapeutic resistance.

Weak solutions of generated Jacobian equations
We prove two groups of relationships for weak solutions to generated Jacobian equations under proper assumptions on the generating functions and the domains, which are generalizations for the optimal transportation case and the standard Monge-Ampère case

Earthing effects on mitochondrial function: ATP production and ROS generation
In contrast to sham and naive controls, grounded mitochondria not only exhibit significantly enhanced energy production but also demonstrate a remarkable reduction in membrane potential and oxidative stress. This suggests a profound improvement in mitochondrial health, presenting a promising avenue for therapeutic interventions.

A VISCOSITY SOLUTION METHOD FOR SHAPE-FROM-SHADING WITHOUT IMAGE BOUNDARY DATA
In this paper we propose a solution of the Lambertian shape-from-shading (SFS) problem by designing a new mathematical framework based on the notion of viscosity solution.

Matrix: a complex amalgam of structures and functions in tumor microenvironment
The matrix is a dynamic, intricate three‐dimensional mesh of biomolecules with both structural and functional properties. This review deals with the complexity of this ‘molecular amalgam’ in the tumor microenvironment and highlights its importance in the maintenance and evolution of tumors by describing certain matrix biomolecules, such as ...
