Viscosity and Density of Lactulose Solutions
The density and viscosity of solutions of lactulose and solutions of lactulose and boric acid were determined using calibrated viscometers and a nominal 10-ml pycnometer, respectively. These data were necessary for the development of the recovery section of a continuous pilot plant process to produce lactulose, a valuable pharmaceutical, from lactose.

Stretching the Printability Metric in Direct‐Ink Writing with Highly Extensible Yield‐Stress Fluids
This study introduces “drawability” as a new metric for assessing printability in direct‐ink writing, focusing on gap‐spanning performance and speed robustness. By designing yield‐stress fluids with high extensibility, we demonstrate that extensional strain‐to‐break significantly enhances printability.

Decay estimate of viscosity solutions of nonlinear parabolic PDEs and applications
The aim of this paper is to establish a decay estimate for viscosity solutions of nonlinear PDEs. As an application we prove existence and uniqueness for time almost periodic viscosity solutions.

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

Hot‐Film and Calorimetric Methods With Transient Heating for Measurement of High Biofluid Flow Rate
Accurate measurement of biofluid flow rate is vital for clinical diagnostics. We propose a transient heating strategy using short thermal pulses and peak temperature tracking to enhance the flow sensitivity of the hot‐Film and calorimetric methods. Simulations show how optimal heating time maximizes sensitivity across flow rates.

Multianalyte, real‐time monitoring of bioprinted scaffolds remains challenging. Phosphorescence‐lifetime–based, optically responsive microparticles are embedded in diverse printable hydrogels (κ‐carrageenan, GelMA, PEGDA) to form biomaterial inks that report oxygen, glucose, lactate, and temperature.

Investigating the potential benefits of a new artificial tear formulation combining two polymers
Peter A Simmons, Joseph G Vehige Allergan plc, Irvine, CA, USA Purpose: Artificial tear formulations typically contain a water-soluble polymer to enhance residence time, moisture retention, and binding to the mucin coat of the ocular surface, which ...

Moiré band engineering in graphene/hexagonal boron nitride–based superlattices unlocks van Hove singularities (VHSs) for terahertz (THz) optoelectronics. Tuning the Fermi level near these singularities, associated with secondary neutrality points (SNPs), enhances the photothermoelectric response.

ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...
