Viscosity Solutions of Minimization Problems
SIAM Journal on Optimization, 1996Viscosity methods provide an efficient approach to a large number of problems coming from different branches of mathematical analysis, such as mathematical programming (for example, Tikhonov regularization and exponential penalty methods for linear programming), variational problems (for example, minimal hypersurfaces, plasticity theory, and phase ...

Viscosity of Polymer Solutions
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1963In the expression for the viscosity of polymer solutions η=η0+[η]C+K[η]2C2+···, the Huggins constant K is calculated for hard spheres and for interpenetrable spheres of uniform segment density. For hard spheres K = 0.6909, and for soft spheres where K is larger, the dependence of K on the segment—segment interaction constant is given.

Viscosity of polyelectrolyte solutions
Die Makromolekulare Chemie, 1970AbstractThe viscosity behaviour of polyelectrolytes in solutions of low ionic strength has been investigated. The dependence of the viscosity on the degree of substitution, the molecular weight and the velocity gradient was studied in detail. The measurements were carried out in solutions of different ionic strength and the limiting intrinsic viscosity
