Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, 2020Low‐molecular‐weight heparin is the guideline‐endorsed treatment for cancer‐associated venous thromboembolism (VTE). While apixaban is approved for the treatment of acute VTE, limited data support its use in cancer patients.
