High-Visibility Multi-Photon Interference of Classical Light [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2007
It is shown that the visibility of multi-photon interference for classical sources grows rapidly with the order of interference. For three-photon and four-photon interference of two coherent sources, the visibility can be as high as 81.9% and 94.4%, respectively, - much higher than the 'classical limit' of two-photon interference (50%). High-visibility

Turning on visible-light photocatalytic C-H oxidation over metal-organic frameworks by introducing metal-to-cluster charge transfer.

open access: yesJournal of the American Chemical Society, 2019
The tailorable structure and electronic structure of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) greatly facilitate their modu-lated light harvesting, redox power, and consequently photocatalysis.

Chemoresistome mapping in individual breast cancer patients unravels diversity in dynamic transcriptional adaptation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study used longitudinal transcriptomics and gene‐pattern classification to uncover patient‐specific mechanisms of chemotherapy resistance in breast cancer. Findings reveal preexisting drug‐tolerant states in primary tumors and diverse gene rewiring patterns across patients, converging on a few dysregulated functional modules. Despite receiving the

Implications of visible light and means of photoprotection

open access: yesJournal of Photochemistry and Photobiology, 2023
Visible light (VL) has been shown to promote genotoxicity through free radical generation and structural protein degradation. These stressful events promote cellular vulnerability, which manifests clinically as erythema, hyperpigmentation, and photoaging.

Light-Field for RF [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2019
Most computer vision systems and computational photography systems are visible light based which is a small fraction of the electromagnetic (EM) spectrum. In recent years radio frequency (RF) hardware has become more widely available, for example, many cars are equipped with a RADAR, and almost every home has a WiFi device.

Single Atom (Pd/Pt) Supported on Graphitic Carbon Nitride as an Efficient Photocatalyst for Visible-Light Reduction of Carbon Dioxide.

open access: yesJournal of the American Chemical Society, 2016
Reducing carbon dioxide to hydrocarbon fuel with solar energy is significant for high-density solar energy storage and carbon balance. In this work, single atoms of palladium and platinum supported on graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4), i.e., Pd/g-C3N4 ...

Tonic signaling of the B‐cell antigen‐specific receptor is a common functional hallmark in chronic lymphocytic leukemia cell phosphoproteomes at early disease stages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
B‐cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B‐CLL) and monoclonal B‐cell lymphocytosis (MBL) show altered proteomes and phosphoproteomes, analyzed using mass spectrometry, protein microarrays, and western blotting. Identifying 2970 proteins and 316 phosphoproteins, including 55 novel phosphopeptides, we reveal BCR and NF‐kβ/STAT3 signaling in disease ...

3D Polarization-Independent Visible Invisibility [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2010
We fabricate and characterize a three-dimensional polarization-independent invisibility cloak operating at visible wavelengths of light. The required drastic miniaturization has become possible by employing stimulated-emission-depletion inspired direct-laser-writing optical lithography with conceptually diffraction-unlimited axial and lateral ...
