Energy and Spectral Efficiency Analysis for RIS-Aided V2V-Visible Light Communication
IEEE Communications Letters, 2023The common underlying assumption in vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) visible light communication (VLC) is that connected vehicles travel serially, so a line-of-sight (LoS) link is always maintained. However, in scenarios where in-parallel vehicles communicate to

Key Technologies for High-Speed Si-Substrate LED Based Visible Light Communication
Journal of Lightwave Technology, 2023Nowadays, the demand for high-speed information transmission is increasing rapidly. Visible light communication (VLC) based on light-emitting diodes (LEDs) is supposed as a potential candidate for future 6G communication networks. However, as an emerging

Hybrid visible light communications (VLC) and PLC system
2017 Opto-Electronics and Communications Conference (OECC) and Photonics Global Conference (PGC), 2017VLC needs a ubiquitous network as its backbone to avoid becoming an information isolated island. In this paper we propose and experimentally demonstrate an indoor hybrid system that integrates VLC and PLC. OFDM modulation scheme is used to maximize the transmission rate. Experiments show the system works well with the goal of full link transmission.
