Autonomous Navigation in Large‐Scale Underground Environments Based on a Purely Topological Understanding of Tunnel Networks

open access: yesJournal of Field Robotics, Volume 43, Issue 4, Page 2671-2692, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This work presents a non‐geometrical navigation approach based on a purely topological understanding of underground environments. By conceptualizing subterranean scenarios as a set of tunnels that intersect with each other, and taking a navigation approach based on topological instructions, we simplify the navigation problem to the sequential ...

Vicarious Narratives From Colleagues: Exploring Meaning‐Making, Themes, and Affective Sequences in Relation to the Psychosocial Work Environment

open access: yesApplied Cognitive Psychology, Volume 40, Issue 3, May/June 2026.
ABSTRACT Guided by an ecological systems approach, we extend research on intergenerational and vicarious narratives to a vocational setting. We explored meaning‐making, themes, and affective sequences in vicarious work narratives and their associations with psychosocial work environment in 125 German secondary school teachers (46% female, mean years of

RBD‐SD1 Nanoparticle Vaccines From DPP4‐Using Merbecoviruses Elicit a Cross‐Reactive Antibody Response but Limited Cross‐Protective Immunity

open access: yesBiotechnology and Bioengineering, Volume 123, Issue 5, Page 1338-1349, May 2026.
SpyCatcher‐mi3 nanoparticles displaying RBD‐SD1 from MERS‐CoV, NL140422, and HKU4 elicited robust and cross‐reactive IgG responses in mice. Only MERS‐CoV RBD‐SD1 induced neutralizing antibodies against MERS‐CoV and protected human DPP4 mice from a MERS‐CoV challenge, indicating conserved serologic but limited cross‐neutralizing epitopes.
