The visible spectrum of jet-cooled CF3NO
Chemical Physics Letters, 1987Abstract The electronic origin of the A A″ ← X A′ transition of trifluoronitrosomethane (CF3NO) has been reassigned to the very weak feature near 717.9 nm in the fluorescence excitation spectrum of the jet-cooled molecule. The prominent torsional progression has been reinpreted and the height of the threefold torsional barier in the A( n,π* ) state ...

The Visible Emission Spectrum of the HgGa2 Excimer
Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 2001A spectroscopic study of the Ga-Hg excimer has been carried out for the first time. The vapor mixture excited by a RF discharge shows emission bands with an intensity maximum at 5020 Å. The density of Hg in this study was in the range of 10(18)-10(19) atoms/cc and that of Ga about 10(11) atoms/cc.

The visible emission spectrum of iodine
Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy, 1973Abstract The emission spectrum of iodine has been photographed in the visible region at high resolution, and 16 bands of the B[0 + u( 3 Π )] → X[0 + g( 1 Σ )] system have been rotationall analyzed. Centrifugal distortion constants for the B state are calculated from the empirical (RKR) potential curve using a method ...
