[Disorders of color vision].

open access: yesArhiv za higijenu rada i toksikologiju, 2004
This review gives a summary of all colour vision disorders (dyschromatopsias) and diagnostic methods and tests. Colour vision is inadequately treated in current literature with regard to the choice of diagnostic methods and the interpretation of results for a single disorder, which contributes to wrong dyschromatopsia diagnosing seen every day in ...

Soft Robotic Excretory Care Simulator for Nursing Education: Functional and Perceptual Biomimetics Approach

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A soft robotic simulator is developed to replicate the digital removal of feces (DRF), a sensitive yet essential nursing procedure. Integrating soft actuators, sensors, and a realistic rectal model, the simulator balances functional fidelity with perceptual realism. Engineering evaluations and nurse feedback confirm its potential to enhance training in

A Proof‐of‐Concept Assessment of a Novel Wearable Eyelid Muscle Device: A Pre‐Clinical Animal Cadaver Study for Eyelid Closure Restoration

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article introduces a soft wearable eyelid sling device incorporating a hydraulic soft artificial muscle (SAM) for achieving complete closure of an eyelid. The SAM is driven by a cam mechanism that provides a displacement profile closely matched with those of a healthy eyelid.

Piezoresistivity Enhancement by Graphite Flake Alignment in Thin Composite Films for Dielectric Elastomer Switches

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article presents dielectric elastomer switch (DES) materials, based on composite thin films. Alignment of graphite flakes due to their physical confinement within the thin films lead to much stronger piezoresistive responses than bulk composites, while their durability exceeds that of conventional liquid‐based DES materials.
