Transformative Color Vision

Journal of Visual Literacy, 2003
AbstractThrough the years colors have been a mystery to scientists. It was the mystery of color that moved Sir Isaac Newton to study why the brilliancy andformation of color existed. Sensitivity transformation for vertebrate vision

Visual Neuroscience, 1991
AbstractThe visual response to a flash given in the dark is known to saturate according to the Michaelis-Menten relationship. Nevertheless, the incremental response from increasing levels of mean luminance tends to follow a Weber-Fechner relationship well into the saturation range determined from the Michaelis-Menten results.

Transforming the vision

World Class Design to Manufacture, 1995
Postulates that once the DFMA team has analysed an original product concept and improved the manufacturability and ease‐of‐assembly of that concept, they must change the vision of the product in their mind′s eye to leap forward. The description of the product verbally in terms of functions, not features, frees the product from physical form in the mind′
