Here, we report a simple aptamer-based toxoid test with both fluorescence and binary visual readouts. This test is established based on our recent finding that CdTe quantum dots could differentiate DNA templated Cu NPs from Cu2+.

Few-Shot Visual Classification Using Image Pairs With Binary Transformation
IEEE transactions on circuits and systems for video technology (Print), 2020Accurately classifying images using few-shot samples have been widely explored by researchers. However, these methods have two drawbacks. First, images are often used independently.

Statistical study of visual binaries
Astrophysics and Space Science, 1988A statistical study of physical pairs from IDS catalogue has been performed. For 2811 binaries with luminosity class V primaries it has been found that their mass function is a Salpeter one; their distribution over semi-major axes of orbits is dN ∝ d log a. The rate of duplicity of stars is close to 1.

XNOR-Net: ImageNet Classification Using Binary Convolutional Neural Networks
European Conference on Computer Vision, 2016We propose two efficient approximations to standard convolutional neural networks: Binary-Weight-Networks and XNOR-Networks. In Binary-Weight-Networks, the filters are approximated with binary values resulting in 32\(\times \) memory saving.

On the Maximum Separation of Visual Binaries [PDF]
In this paper, an efficient algorithm is established for computing the maximum (minimum) angular separation ρ max(ρ min), the corresponding apparent position angles ( $\theta|_{\rho_{\rm max}}$ ,

Scalable Zero-Shot Learning via Binary Visual-Semantic Embeddings
IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 2019Zero-shot learning aims to classify the visual instances from unseen classes in the absence of training examples. This is typically achieved by directly mapping visual features to a semantic embedding space of classes (e.g., attributes or word vectors ...
