A probabilistic observer for visual tracking
Proceedings of the 2010 American Control Conference, 2010This paper describes an observer for estimation of the rigid pose and shape states associated to an object being tracked in an image sequence. The defined observer utilizes standard estimation strategies for the finite-dimensional rigid pose sub-states, and a novel strategy for the shape sub-states.

Channel Pruning for Visual Tracking
2019Deep convolutional feature based Correlation Filter trackers have achieved record-breaking accuracy, but the huge computational complexity limits their application. In this paper, we derive the efficient convolution operators (ECO) tracker which obtains the top rank on VOT-2016.

Visual tracking with dual modeling
Proceedings of the 27th Conference on Image and Vision Computing New Zealand, 2012In this paper, a new visual tracking method with dual modeling is proposed. The proposed method aims to solve the problems of occlusions, background clutters, and drifting simultaneously with the proposed dual model. The dual model is consisted of single Gaussian models for the foreground and the background.

Visual tracking with deformation models
Proceedings. 1991 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation, 2002A novel solution to the 2-D tracking problem is presented. This solution has two major components: a deformation model that constrains the interpretation of motion, and a set of energy-based match criteria that specify image features to be used in tracking. The separation of the motion model from the match features is an advantage of this approach over

Visual Hand Tracking Algorithms
Geometric Modeling and Imaging--New Trends (GMAI'06), 2006Tracking is an important section in a gesture recognition system. Numerous techniques for segmentation, tracking, modeling and recognition have been proposed during several past years. A few papers comparing different approaches have been published [31,32]. However, a comprehensive survey on tracking is still missing.

Visual tracking by proto-objects
Pattern Recognition, 2013In this paper, we propose a biologically inspired framework of visual tracking based on proto-objects. Given an image sequence, proto-objects are first detected by combining saliency map and topic model. Then the target is tracked based on spatial and saliency information of the proto-objects. In the proposed Bayesian approach, states of the target and

Visual tracking for Augmented Reality
2010 International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation, 2010Localization of mobile devices is an essential task in Augmented Reality and has therefore been an active research topic for many years. Typically, indoor tracking approaches, such as methods based on infrared or ultra-wide-band, require preparations of the environment and special hardware sensors.

Nanobodies for NETosis Tracking and Visualization
Current ProtocolsAbstract Neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs) are pivotal in the immune response, trapping and neutralizing pathogens. The process of NET formation, or NETosis, is a critical innate immune response mechanism implicated in diverse physiological and pathological processes, including infections, chronic inflammation, and cancer ...

Tracking in a complex visual environment
1990We examine the tracking of 3-dimensional targets moving in a complex (e.g. highly textured) visual environment, which makes the application of methods relying on static segmentation and feature correspondence very problematic, even under specific assumptions about the trajectory of the target.
