Porosity governs transport mechanics in hydrogels, yet characterization in its native state remains challenging. This work harnesses particle tracking to uncover three‐dimensional pore geometric features in polyethylene glycol hydrogels. Measurements in the native state reveal pores characteristics are comparable to those obtained by cryogenic scanning

Accent mark and visual word recognition in Spanish
The present research aims at determining to what extent an orthographic error related to the accent mark affects the visual recognition of Spanish words. For this, we conducted two experiments of visual lexical decision (with no word production), in which Spanish-speaking participants were instructed to ignore the presence or the absence of the accent ...

In this study, a novel cationic peptide, IW is designed and synthesized, with a tandem‐repeat sequence demonstrating potent activities against a broad spectrum of clinically relevant Carbapenem‐resistant Enterobacteriaceae in both the planktonic and biofilm states. IW is then formulated with P407 to form IW‐P407 colloids.

Word and object recognition during reading acquisition: MEG evidence
Studies on adults suggest that reading-induced brain changes might not be limited to linguistic processes. It is still unclear whether these results can be generalized to reading development.

Understanding Visual Concepts Across Models [PDF]
Large multimodal models such as Stable Diffusion can generate, detect, and classify new visual concepts after fine-tuning just a single word embedding. Do models learn similar words for the same concepts (i.e.
