Review of Palaeobotany and Palynology, 1979Abstract A revision of the nomenclature of the seeds of the Vitaceae from the Oligocene Brandon Lignite (Vermont, U.S.A.) has resulted in the description of a new species, Vitis macrochalaza , for the form previously reported as Vitis pseudo-rotundifolia Berry.
