CSIS: compressed sensing-based enhanced-embedding capacity image steganography scheme [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2021
Image steganography plays a vital role in securing secret data by embedding it in the cover images. Usually, these images are communicated in a compressed format. Existing techniques achieve this but have low embedding capacity. Enhancing this capacity causes a deterioration in the visual quality of the stego-image.

Bioengineering facets of the tumor microenvironment in 3D tumor models: insights into cellular, biophysical and biochemical interactions

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The tumor microenvironment is a dynamic, multifaceted complex system of interdependent cellular, biochemical, and biophysical components. Three‐dimensional in vitro models of the tumor microenvironment enable a better understanding of these interactions and their impact on cancer progression and therapeutic resistance.

Rethinking Information Theory for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The subject of this paper is the long-standing open problem of developing a general capacity theory for wireless networks, particularly a theory capable of describing the fundamental performance limits of mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). A MANET is a peer-to-peer network with no pre-existing infrastructure. MANETs are the most general wireless networks,
