Biomimetic Cell Membrane‐Coated MOFs System for Targeted Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Biomimetic MOF‐based drug delivery nanoplatforms synthesized using liposomes or cell membranes as camouflage for multiple cancer therapeutics. ABSTRACT The integration of metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) with cell membrane coatings has emerged as a revolutionary strategy to enhance the therapeutic efficacy of cancer nanomedicine.

Neutrophil‐Mimetic Nanoscavengers Target the Inflammatory Microenvironment to Eliminate NETs/ROS and Immunomodulate cGAS‐STING Signaling in Septic AKI

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sepsis‐associated acute kidney injury is driven by oxidative stress, NETs overproduction, and dysregulated innate immunity. Here, we develop neutrophil‐mimetic nanoscavengers that integrate ROS‐scavenging Mn3O4 nanozymes with DNase‐1‐mediated NETs degradation to suppress cGAS‐STING signaling, reprogram macrophage polarization, and effectively alleviate

Deep Brain Stimulation Induces Antidepressant Effects by Restoring High‐Fidelity Communication in the BNST‐NAc Circuit

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This cross‐species study reveals that pathological hyperactivity of BNST neurons in depressive states disrupts inhibitory period and isolated spikes in the BNST‐NAc circuit. DBS achieves its antidepressant effects by precisely restoring network inhibitory periods and high‐fidelity signal transmission.

Monitoring vital signs in vital times

Nursing Management (Springhouse), 2002
Vital signs monitoring advances make it possible for caregivers to assess patients with the same equipment, from admission until discharge. Before purchasing a monitoring system, be sure to clearly understand your patients' short- and long-term monitoring needs throughout the hospital.

A Non-Contact Vital Signs Monitor

Critical Reviews™ in Biomedical Engineering, 2000
The expansion and contraction of the lungs and heart result in movement of the chest wall that can be detected and monitored to determine respiration and heart rate. A prototype non-contact Vital Signs Monitor (VSM) has been developed which uses very low power, high frequency Doppler radar to detect these motions.

Vital physiological signs monitoring

International Journal of Computer Applications in Technology, 2004
The aim of this project is to build a virtual image and the patients' data and signal transfer to a remote place. Patient information will be available to those who have the authority to access the information. LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench) is used in displaying the signal in the computer. Virtual instruments are created
