Integrative Proteomics and Genomics Identify Novel Biomarkers and Therapeutic Targets in Vitiligo via Mendelian Randomization

open access: yesDermatology and Therapy
Introduction Given that the proteome is a major source of therapeutic targets, we conducted a proteome-wide Mendelian randomization (MR) combined with transcriptome sequencing analysis to identify candidate protein markers and therapeutic targets for ...

Clinical heterogeneity in vitiligo: Identification of clinical markers based patient clusters

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, EarlyView.
Vitiligo is a chronic autoimmune disease with heterogeneous clinical presentations. This study analysed 399 patients using hierarchical clustering and identified five phenotypes based on clinical characteristics and lesion distribution. Two groups exhibited high disease activity and extensive involvement.

Inflammatory niches as spatial drivers of disease mechanisms and targets for personalized treatment

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, EarlyView.
This study provides a comprehensive review of how spatial transcriptomics reveals disease‐specific inflammatory niches across multiple skin disorders, highlighting key immune–stromal, neuro–immune and metabolic interactions that were previously unappreciated in non‐spatial analyses. Abstract Disease states are increasingly recognized as being shaped by
