Direct SMBH Formation Driven by Runaway Stellar Collisions in Globally Unstable Stellar Systems

open access: yesAstronomische Nachrichten, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The fueling problem addresses the ultimate fate of the reservoirs of gas and stars driven into the deepest gravitational potential wells of galaxies, thus it may contain the Universe's densest concentrations of gas and stars. This raises a key question: does the infalling material collapse directly into a supermassive black hole, or can it ...

Arthroscopic Posterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction Using a Pedicled Semitendinosus Autograft Through a Trans‐Septal Approach: A Technical Note

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Isolated posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) ruptures are relatively uncommon among knee ligament injuries. Operative management is recommended for patients with grade III posterior knee joint laxity. The complex anatomy of the PCL, particularly its course and insertion on the femur and the tibia, makes its reconstruction technically challenging.

All‐Arthroscopic Trochlear Osteochondral Scaffold Matrix Implantation for Osteochondral Defects of the Femoral Trochlea

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract The treatment of osteochondral defects via an aragonite‐based osteochondral scaffold has been established via mini‐arthrotomy. This report describes a variation of the established procedure to perform and complete the scaffold implantation in the femoral trochlea via a reproducible, all‐arthroscopic technique.

Blood pressure effects of SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP‐1 receptor agonists: Mechanisms, trial evidence and Real‐world data

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, EarlyView.
SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP‐1 receptor agonists modestly lower blood pressure across diverse patient populations, including those without diabetes. These effects appear largely independent of glycaemic control and offer additive value in high‐risk patients with overlapping comorbidities.
