Brief report : imitation of meaningless gestures in individuals with Asperger syndrome and high-functioning autism [PDF]
Nineteen people with Asperger syndrome (AS)/High-Functioning Autism (HFA) (ages 7-15) were tested on imitation of two types of meaningless gesture: hand postures and finger positions.

Controlling Heterogeneous Catalysis With Subsurface Oxygen
During CO oxidation on rhodium surfaces, the reaction dynamics are markedly altered in the presence of subsurface oxygen. Subsurface oxygen stabilizes the nascent physisorbed CO2 formed after the surface reaction, allowing it to become transiently trapped and thermalize with the surface.

Recent advances in experimental techniques to probe fast excited-state dynamics in biological molecules in the gas phase : dynamics in nucleotides, amino acids and beyond [PDF]
In many chemical reactions, an activation barrier must be overcome before a chemical transformation can occur. As such, understanding the behaviour of molecules in energetically excited states is critical to understanding the chemical changes that these ...

The rapid development of industry in the modern era has resulted in increasingly fierce competition between manufacturing and service companies, encouraging companies to compete to provide superiority to consumers. A warehouse is one part that has a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of production activities. The purpose of the warehouse in this

Molecular movie of ultrafast coherent rotational dynamics of OCS [PDF]
Recording molecular movies on ultrafast timescales has been a longstanding goal for unravelling detailed information about molecular dynamics. Here we present the direct experimental recording of very-high-resolution and -fidelity molecular movies over ...

Using a clinical abdominal CT protocol, all three DECT techniques accurately quantified iodine. Rapid kV‐switching achieved the lowest detectable and quantifiable iodine concentrations, while dual‐layer DECT provided the highest normalised contrast‐to‐noise ratio on 40‐keV virtual monoenergetic images.

ABSTRACT The well‐posedness results for mild solutions to the fractional neutral stochastic differential system with Rosenblatt process with Hurst index Ĥ∈12,1$$ \hat{H}\in \left(\frac{1}{2},1\right) $$ is discussed in this article. To demonstrate the results, the concept of bounded integral contractors is combined with the stochastic result and ...

Highly Dynamic Soft Electrohydraulic Origami Actuators for Agile and Multimodal Robotic Locomotion
Most current soft robots still lag far behind their natural counterparts in both agility and speed, mainly attributed to the limited morphing modes and performance of soft actuators. Here, the authors report a new methodology of electrohydraulic origami (EHO) for creating powerful and multimodal soft actuators with large strain, high speed, lightweight,
