The Dual of Bergman Metro VMO

open access: yesRocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics, 1999
The main result of this paper is a new proof of the theorem which says that the dual of the Bergman metric \(\text{VMO}_p\) is the space \(H^1_q\) consisting of \(\ell^1\)-sums of Bergman metric \(q\)-atoms \(({1\over p}+{1\over q}= 1)\) and moreover that the second dual is \(\text{BMO}_p\).

Charge Storage Mechanisms and Material Design of Ammonium Ion Batteries

open access: yesCarbon Neutralization, Volume 5, Issue 5, September 2026.
Aqueous ammonium ion batteries (AAIBs) are promising sustainable energy storage devices, leveraging the low molar mass and rapid hydrogen bond‐facilitated diffusion of NH4+ ions. Research focuses on developing electrode materials (including metal materials and organic materials) and optimizing electrolytes to improve performance.

The Vastus Medialis Oblique: Vastus Lateralis Electromyographic Intensity Ratio During Squat with Hip Adduction in Athletes with and Without Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome

open access: yesJournal of Rehabilitation, 2012
Objective: This study was designed to compare vastus medialis oblique (VMO): vastus lateralis longus (VLL) electromyographic intensity ratio during squat with hip adduction in athletes with and without patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS).

Trochleoplasty Is Associated With High Rates of Patellofemoral Arthritis: A Systematic Review

open access: yesArthroscopy, Sports Medicine, and Rehabilitation, Volume 8, Issue 4, August 2026.
Purpose To identify 2‐ to 5‐ and >10‐year complications of trochleoplasty and define rates of postoperative patellofemoral arthritis. Methods PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science were queried for terms related to trochleoplasty. Included studies were clinical studies using trochleoplasty to manage patellofemoral instability and were published in English ...

Immediate effect of selective neuromuscular electrical stimulation on the electromyographic activity of the vastus medialis oblique muscle

open access: yesRevista Brasileira de Cineantropometria e Desempenho Humano, 2008
The Patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS) is described as an anterior or retropatellar knee pain in the absence of other associated diseases, and has often been associated with dysfunction of the vastus medialis oblique muscle (VMO).

Pain-related function, muscle stiffness, and muscle activation in adults with patellofemoral pain

open access: yesBMC Musculoskeletal Disorders
Background Patellofemoral pain (PFP) is a prevalent knee condition affecting adolescents and active adults, characterized by diffuse anterior knee pain exacerbated by weight-bearing activities and knee flexion.

Regularity in generalized Morrey spaces of solutions to higher order nondivergence elliptic equations with VMO coefficients

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2019
We study the boundedness of the sublinear integral operators generated by Calderón–Zygmund operator and their commutators with $\mathit{BMO}$ functions on generalized Morrey spaces.

Comprehensive Medial Knee Four‐Arm Reconstruction to Address Complex Instability With Hamstring Autograft

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, Volume 15, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract Medial knee ligament injuries are increasingly recognized as complex, multiplanar lesions, resulting not only in simple medial instability but also anteromedial rotatory instability, anteromedial instability, posteromedial instability, posteromedial rotatory instability, and post‐traumatic medial asymmetric hyperextension.
