LATENCY DELAY OF THE VASTUS MEDIALIS OBLIQUE AND VASTUS LATERALIS IN INDIVIDUALS WITH PATELLOFEMORAL PAIN SYNDROME

open access: yesMHSalud, 2016
Purpose: To determine the onset latency of the vastus medialis oblique (VMO) and vastus lateralis (VL) muscles in individuals with patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFPS). Methodology: A case-control study.

A comparison theorem for nonsmooth nonlinear operators

open access: yes, 2019
We prove a comparison theorem for super- and sub-solutions with non-vanishing gradients to semilinear PDEs provided a nonlinearity $f$ is $L^p$ function with $p > 1$.

Preoperative and postoperative risk factors for arthrogenic muscle inhibition in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction: A retrospective study

open access: yesKnee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose This study aimed to identify preoperative and postoperative risk factors associated with the development of arthrogenic muscle inhibition (AMI) in patients undergoing anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction (ACLR). The hypothesis was that distinct risk factors contribute to the occurrence of preoperative and postoperative AMI ...

Perceptions and Service Outcomes of a Nurse Practitioner Led Inpatient Psychiatric Consultant‐Liaison Service in a Private Health Care Setting: A Prospective Observational Study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mental Health Nursing, Volume 35, Issue 3, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Psychiatric consultant‐liaison nurses play a crucial role in ensuring prompt and effective mental health care, though the volume of empirical research on nurse‐led consultant‐liaison models in the private sector is limited. This study evaluated the service activity and immediate service‐level outcomes of a nurse‐led Psychiatric Consultant ...

Interior Lp-estimates and local Ap-weights [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Let Ω be a nonempty open proper and connected subset of Rn, n≥3. Consider the elliptic Schrödinger type operator LEu=AEu+Vu=−Σijaij(x)uxixj+Vu in Ω, and the linear parabolic operator LPu=APu+Vu= ut−Σaij(x,t)uxixj+Vu in ΩT=Ω×(0,T), where the coefficients ...

$L^p$-theory for fractional gradient PDE with VMO coefficients

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper, we prove $L^p$ estimates for the fractional derivatives of solutions to elliptic fractional partial differential equations whose coefficients are $VMO$.

The Dual of Bergman Metro VMO

open access: yesRocky Mountain Journal of Mathematics, 1999
The main result of this paper is a new proof of the theorem which says that the dual of the Bergman metric \(\text{VMO}_p\) is the space \(H^1_q\) consisting of \(\ell^1\)-sums of Bergman metric \(q\)-atoms \(({1\over p}+{1\over q}= 1)\) and moreover that the second dual is \(\text{BMO}_p\).

Approaching Sixfold Chemical Bonding: Metal Dimers MM' Involving Group 4–8 Transition Metals and the Actinides Th–Np. Additive Covalent Radii r6$r_6$

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 18, 14 May 2026.
Twelve‐valence‐electron transition metal dimers MM', like diatomic Mo2, can have nearly sixfold bonds. Values of r6$r_6$ for over 20 elements from Sc to Pu are proposed. ABSTRACT A set of additive covalent radii is fitted to a combination of experimental data, accurate ab initio computations, and more approximate DFT MM' bond lengths, R$R$, with 12 ...
