ABSTRACT Vaginally assisted natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (vNOTES) hysterectomy has been compared to conventional laparoscopic total hysterectomy in previous reports. Incidentally, the risk of ureteral injury during total hysterectomy is lower with vaginal hysterectomy than with laparotomy or laparoscopy.
