Intrinsic Interfacial Energy Alignment Enables ETL‐Free Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular orientation of the small‐molecule donor BTR‐Cl induces a vacuum‐level shift that pins the Fermi level at ∼4.4 eV at the active layer/Ag interface, enabling Ohmic contact formation without an electron transport layer. This strategy is extended to ternary PM6:Y6:BTR‐Cl devices, achieving an ETL‐free efficiency of 18.6% with enhanced operational

Seventeenth-century Malay wordlists and their potential for etymological scholarship

open access: yesWacana: Journal of the Humanities of Indonesia
Early-modern wordlists and dictionaries provide an underexplored area for etymological scholarship. By critically comparing different sources written under the aegis of the Dutch East India Company, often compiled by autodidacts who were unable to gain ...

Fragranced Products and VOCs

open access: yesEnvironmental Health Perspectives, 2011
In the article “Scented Products Emit a Bouquet of VOCs,” Potera (2011) gave a broad overview of the work of Steinemann et al. (2010) regarding the quantification of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from fragranced products. Unfortunately, crucial facts were omitted about the materials cited and the use of alternative substances.

Boosting Conversion Efficiency in Zn3P2/InP Solar Cells Via Nanoscale Junction Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates the efficacy of selective area epitaxy (SAE) in enhancing the conversion efficiency of a Zn3P2${\rm Zn}_3{\rm P}_2$/InP heterojunction solar cell. The impact of the SAE pattern dimensions on the performance parameters is investigated. Small size opening limits Jsc because of current crowding whereas large size opening limits Voc

Domain Engineering and Anisotropic Domain‐Wall Photovoltaic Effects in Ferroelectric SnS

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The bulk photovoltaic effect at domain walls in the in‐plane ferroelectric 2D semiconductor SnS is investigated using periodic domain structures. Unlike conventional oxide ferroelectrics, domain walls of SnS do not contribute to photocurrent generation perpendicular to the domain walls.

Fullerene‐Mediated Iodine Immobilization at Buried Interfaces in Sn–Pb Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Indene‐C60 bisadduct (ICBA) accumulates at the buried interface of inverted tin‐lead perovskite solar cells, limiting undesired electron extraction while maintaining efficient hole transport. ICBA simultaneously scavenges molecular iodine, mitigating Sn2+ oxidation and interfacial recombination. This coupled electronic‐chemical regulation delivers 22.7%
