Idiopathic Bilateral Abductor Vocal Cord Palsy
IAR Journal of Medical Case Reports, 2023Bilateral abductor vocal cord paralysis is a distressing condition, often life threatening, most commonly results from iatrogenic trauma to the recurrent laryngeal nerve during surgical procedures in the anterior neck. Patients may require tracheostomy because of acute or gradual onset of dyspnoea and airway compromise.

Vincristine-induced Vocal Cord Palsy
Journal of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, 2010Vincristine-induced vocal cord paralysis is a rare but serious complication. We report 2 patients with acute lymphoblastic leukemia who developed progressive stridor during induction chemotherapy. There were no clinical features of peripheral or autonomic neuropathy.
