Mild Focal Cooling Decouples Dendrites to Reconfigure Cortical Output
Mild cooling of the cortical surface selectively modulates apical dendritic excitability, plasticity, and somato‐dendritic coupling, while uncoupling these effects from basal dendrites, and reshapes apical‐driven responses in barrel cortex during whisker touch.

The effects of age on vocal mimicry in female superb lyrebirds
Avian vocal mimicry has typically been examined through the lens of sexual selection acting on males. However, the females of many bird species are accomplished vocal mimics; a fact that cannot be accounted for by traditional male‐centric explanations ...

Distinct Biotypes of Visual Perception in Major Depressive Disorder
In a discover dataset (272 acute MDD patients), this work identifies a novel depression biotype characterized by impaired visual motion perception, using machine learning clustering. An independent dataset confirms the robustness of this biotype through cross‐validation and demonstrates its generalizability.
