Preparation of ternary ZnO/Ag/cellulose and its enhanced photocatalytic degradation property on phenol and benzene in VOCs

open access: yesOpen Chemistry, 2019
The ZnO/Ag/cellulose composite (ZAC) with excellent photocatalytic activity of degrading benzene and phenol in VOCs has been successfully synthesized. EDS, TEM, XPS and UV-vis analyses show that the ZAC is a ternary composite.

Reconstructing PASCAL VOC [PDF]

open access: yes2014 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, 2014
We address the problem of populating object category detection datasets with dense, per-object 3D reconstructions, bootstrapped from class labels, ground truth figure-ground segmentations and a small set of keypoint annotations. Our proposed algorithm first estimates camera viewpoint using rigid structure-from-motion, then reconstructs object shapes by

Concha Bullosa as a Cause of Rhinological Halitosis

open access: yesThe Turkish Journal of Ear Nose and Throat, 2023
Objective: Sinonasal diseases are one of the main causes of foul breath. Disruption of mucus drainage leading to bacterial putrefaction is the leading factor of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) production.

Unveiling the Molecular Basis of Mascarpone Cheese Aroma: VOCs analysis by SPME-GC/MS and PTR-ToF-MS

open access: yesMolecules, 2020
Mascarpone, a soft-spread cheese, is an unripened dairy product manufactured by the thermal-acidic coagulation of milk cream. Due to the mild flavor and creamy consistency, it is a base ingredient in industrial, culinary, and homemade preparations (e.g.,

Volatile organic compounds as biomarkers of the freshness of poultry meat packaged in a modified atmosphere

open access: yesCzech Journal of Food Sciences, 2012
The volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the packing of chicken meat in a modified atmosphere was qualitatively and quantitatively evaluated. The total number of 72 samples of chicken hindquarters were stored under two different modified atmospheres (70%
