Tuning D‐Band Center of Vanadium in Constructing Lattice‐Matched Coherent Heterostructure for Enhanced Sodium Storage

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The coherent heterostructure and the strong stress field at the heterointerface upshift the d‐band center of vanadium toward the Fermi level, which effectively lowers the Na+ diffusion barrier, facilitates charge transfer and accelerates reaction kinetics.

The Breaking of the Voice

open access: yesNineteenth-Century Music Review, 2011
Part I of this article explores instances in Mahler's symphonies where the composer allows the continuity of the musical voice to break and to fall temporarily into silence. It analyses these in terms of seven different categories or compositional strategies – violent strikes, abysmal silence, draining away/falling apart, drowning out, hyperintensity ...

Dual‐Nanoparticle Engineered Hydrogel Reverses Bicellular Oxidative Stress to Accelerate Diabetic Fracture Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
CD105‐LNPs and PS‐LNPs can deliver α‐lipoic acid to bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and bone marrow‐derived macrophages, reversing high glucose‐induced oxidative stress while enhancing osteogenesis and M2 polarization. Integrating both nanoparticles into glucose‐responsive hyaluronic acid hydrogel forms DLNPs@HA hydrogel, which accelerates diabetic ...
