By using (meso)porous N‐doped carbon nanospheres with tailored intraparticle porosity and constant particle size as conductive carbon in PVMPT‐based organic battery electrodes, the complete volume of the carbon is accessible for the immobilization of PVMPT, resulting in high accessible specific capacities while maintaining a good rate capability and ...

Control of Ferromagnetism of Vanadium Oxide Thin Films by Oxidation States
The nonstoichiometric VOx exhibits a distinct ferromagnetic hysteresis loop and demonstrates a high magnetic susceptibility (χ=dMdH$ = \frac{{dM}}{{dH}}\;$∼10). Micromagnetic simulations show the results of the “partial volume fraction ferromagnetic phase model” for VOx/Co/Pt structure.

From Note-Level to Chord-Level Neural Network Models for Voice Separation in Symbolic Music [PDF]
Music is often experienced as a progression of concurrent streams of notes, or voices. The degree to which this happens depends on the position along a voice-leading continuum, ranging from monophonic, to homophonic, to polyphonic, which complicates the design of automatic voice separation models.

The coherent heterostructure and the strong stress field at the heterointerface upshift the d‐band center of vanadium toward the Fermi level, which effectively lowers the Na+ diffusion barrier, facilitates charge transfer and accelerates reaction kinetics.

Singing Voice Separation and Vocal F0 Estimation based on Mutual Combination of Robust Principal Component Analysis and Subharmonic Summation [PDF]
This paper presents a new method of singing voice analysis that performs mutually-dependent singing voice separation and vocal fundamental frequency (F0) estimation. Vocal F0 estimation is considered to become easier if singing voices can be separated from a music audio signal, and vocal F0 contours are useful for singing voice separation.

Understanding the nature of apraxia of speech: Theory, analysis, and treatment
Researchers have interpreted the behaviours of individuals with acquired apraxia of speech (AOS) as impairment of linguistic phonological processing, motor control, or both.

Singing voice conversion with non-parallel data [PDF]
Singing voice conversion is a task to convert a song sang by a source singer to the voice of a target singer. In this paper, we propose using a parallel data free, many-to-one voice conversion technique on singing voices. A phonetic posterior feature is first generated by decoding singing voices through a robust Automatic Speech Recognition Engine (ASR)

Inspired by the critical role of capping agents in nanomaterials synthesis and bulk crystal growth, the role of capping agents in manipulating the electrochemical behaviors of AZIBs is untangled. The multifunctional role of the capping agents in terms of the Zn anode, electrolyte, and cathode validates stable and practical AZIBs. Abstract Long‐standing
