Hierarchical structure of the cosmic web and galaxy properties [PDF]
Voids possess a very complex internal structure and dynamics. Using $N$-body simulations we study the hierarchical nature of sub-structures present in the cosmic web (CW). We use the SpineWeb method which provides a complete characterization of the CW into its primary constituents: voids, walls, filaments, and nodes.

Determination of flow front velocity and optimal injection pressures for better impregnation of E-glass with polyester in resin transfer mold [PDF]
Flow front velocity of resin plays a key role in yielding better impregnation of fiber reinforcement in resin transfer molding to fabricate quality composites. A video camera was used to capture the patterns of resin flowing below the grid lines drawn on

Phase field modelling voids nucleation and growth in binary systems [PDF]
We present a comprehensive study of voids formation, nucleation and growth in a prototype model of binary alloys subjected to irradiation by using a combined approach based on phase field and rate theories. It is shown that voids formation is caused by interaction of irradiation-produced vacancies through elastic deformation of a lattice and vacancy ...

Mixing-demixing transition and void formation in quasi-2D binary mixtures on a sphere [PDF]
Motivated by observations of heterogeneous domain structure on the surface of cells and vesicles and by domain formation due to the adsorption of complex molecules onto composite membranes, we consider a minimal quasi 2D-model to describe the structure of binary mixtures on the surface of a spherical particle.
