Drag force simulation in explosive volcanic flows
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2015This paper focuses on the interphase drag force simulation of volcanic flows by means of mixture formulation with velocity nonequilibrium. Numerical simulations are performed on a volcanic gas-ash mixture collision and the influence of the drag force is verified on a number of cases.
