Surfaceome Reprogramming of Stemsomes Promotes Lung Cancer Targeting via Potentiated Receptor–Ligand Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a surfaceome‐reprogramming strategy for mutation‐independent lung cancer therapy by repurposing dexamethasone to prime mesenchymal stem cell‐derived nanovesicles. The engineered vesicles leverage multi‐valent interactions mediated by upregulated adhesion proteins, EPHA2, and NOTCH3.

Assessing Volcanic Hazard

open access: yes, 2017
Volcanoes represent complex geological systems capable of generating many dangerous phenomena. To evaluate and manage volcanic risk, we need first to assess volcanic hazard (i.e., identify past volcanic system behavior to infer future behavior. This requires acquisition of all relevant geological and geophysical information, such as stratigraphic ...

Some relevant issues in volcanic hazard forecasts and management of volcanic crisis

, 2021
Forecasting volcanic hazards and managing volcanic crises are extremely difficult endeavors, for reasons that span from the inherent complexity characterizing volcanic phenomena to the magnitude of the associated risks. Scientific developments as well as
