Study of zircon U–Pb chronology, tectonic environment and stratigraphic attribution of mafic metavolcanic rocks in the Xiaohuangshan area, Beishan, Inner Mongolia

open access: yesDiscover Applied Sciences
Meta basic volcanic rocks were occupied the Xiaohuangshan area, Beishan, Inner Mongolia. Previous studies on the formation age and tectonic environment of this set of strata had less data, and opinions on the attribution of this set of strata were not ...

A major discovery in Permian volcanic rock gas reservoir exploration in the Sichuan Basin and its implications

open access: yesNatural Gas Industry B, 2019
Recently, a high-yield gas flow of 22.5 × 104 m3/d was achieved in the wildcat well Yongtan 1, deployed by PetroChina Southwest Oil and Gasfield Company, and an extrusive facies volcaniclastic gas reservoir was first discovered in the Sichuan Basin ...

Geochemistry and petrogenesis of volcanic rocks from Daimao Seamount (South China Sea) and their tectonic implications [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The South China Sea (SCS) experienced three episodes of seafloor spreading and left three fossil spreading centers presently located at 18°N, 17°N and 15.5°N.

Targeting ROCK2 to Restore Epileptic Synaptic Networks via Mitophagy Activation: Insights from Translational Imaging of SV2A In Vivo

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By integrating synaptic vesicle glycoprotein 2A PET imaging and transcriptomics, this study identifies Rho‐associated protein kinase 2 (ROCK2) as a critical regulator of synaptic network dysfunction in temporal lobe epilepsy. Pharmacological ROCK2 inhibition restores synaptic density and enhances mitophagy, thereby reducing seizures and neuronal damage.

Performance of treating aquaculture effluent using PHBV/volcanic rock/pyrite synergistic

open access: yes能源环境保护
In order to address the low nitrogen and phosphorus removal efficiencies caused by a low carbon-to-nitrogen ratio in aquaculture effluents, a biofiltration device based on the synergistic coupling of 3-hydroxybutyrate and 3-hydroxyvalerate copolymers ...

Microbial Weathering of Volcanic Rocks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The aim of this thesis was to further the knowledge on microbial weathering, by looking at the effect of model organisms (Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans and Geobacter metallireducens) to natural microbial communities (from basaltic glass). It was found that the medium water-rock ratio (50:1) provided the optimum conditions for A.

Sr-Nd isotope geochemistry of the early Precambrian sub-alkaline mafic igneous rocks from the southern Bastar craton, Central India [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Sr–Nd isotope data are reported for the early Precambrian sub-alkaline mafic igneous rocks of the southern Bastar craton, central India. These mafic rocks are mostly dykes but there are a few volcanic exposures.

Centimeter‐Scale Self‐Assembling Tendon Organoids Drive Tissue Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Centimeter‐scale tendon organoids are engineered by mimicking the extracellular matrix and optimizing chemical cues to guide tendon stem/progenitor cells. These large, self‐assembling constructs overcome conventional size limitations and exhibit enhanced tenogenic differentiation, extracellular matrix production, and mechanical resilience. Their tissue‐

Reconstructing the complex history of a small-volume basaltic volcano (Ngatutura volcanic field, New Zealand) : The role of subsurface processes and implications for diatreme formation : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Earth Science at Massey University, Palmerston North, New Zealand [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Monogenetic volcanism is very common on continents and often occur very close to civilisation. Limiting the ability of volcanologists to predict the location and extent of future eruptions at monogenetic volcanic fields is the lack of knowledge about ...
