Here, we report an exsolution route to size‐tunable Ru‐metal nanocatalysts embedded in conductive metal pnictogenide matrices via the gas‐phase pnictogenation reaction of Ni2Fe1−xRux‐LDH. The inner‐sphere‐mechanism‐assisted interfacial electronic coupling between exsolved single‐atom nanocatalysts and conductive nickel iron pnictogenide matrices led to

Mercury's geochronology revised by applying Model Production Functions to Mariner 10 data: geological implications [PDF]
Model Production Function chronology uses dynamic models of the Main Belt Asteroids (MBAs) and Near Earth Objects (NEOs) to derive the impactor flux to a target body.

Regional distribution of volcanism within the North Atlantic Igneous Province
An overview of the distribution of volcanic facies units was compiled over the North Atlantic region. The new maps establish the pattern of volcanism associated with breakup and the initiation of seafloor spreading over the main part of the North ...

A few copper nanoparticles (less than 1 mg/cm2) supported on CB and deposited on a carbon‐based GDL can achieve Faradaic efficiencies exceeding 60% for CO formation at 100 mA/cm2 due to their homogeneous dispersion and separated catalytic sites. Abstract Electrochemical CO₂ reduction (ECR) offers a promising route for converting CO₂ emissions into ...

Transient slab flattening beneath Colombia
Subduction of the Nazca and Caribbean Plates beneath northwestern Colombia is seen in two distinct Wadati Benioff Zones, one associated with a flat slab to the north and one associated with normal subduction south of 5.5°N.

Age, Depth, and Residual Depth Anomalies in the North Pacific: Implications for Thermal Models of the Lithosphere and Upper Mantle [PDF]
We present an empirical basement depth versus age relation for the North Pacific Ocean, based on the statistical treatment of an ocean-wide gridded data set.

Going from Pt to PGM‐free Catalysts: Effects of Ink Compositions on PEM Water Electrolysis
Optimisation of cathode ink formulations regarding the ratio between catalyst, carbon and binder results in a boost in PEM water electrolysis performance. The optimisation can be transferred from pentlandites to platinum and selenide catalysts, wherein the metal chalcogenides show a stronger performance enhancement.
