Enhanced Electroactivity for Overall Water Splitting and Oxygen Potential of Pt/Carbon Nanotubes Functionalized with Cu Organometallic Complex

open access: yesEnergy Technology, EarlyView.
Functionalizing carbon nanotubes (CNT) with the mesitylcopper (Cu‐mes) complex modifies the surface of CNT, developing Cu‐Pt alloys and Cu‐species. The result is a modified Pt electronic structure that promotes the catalytic activity of the 5 wt% Pt/CNTCu‐mes nanocatalyst for hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions, and oxygen reduction reaction.

Systcm of Volcanic activity

open access: yesAnnals of Geophysics, 2011
A comparison is made among the systems of B. G.
Escher (3), of R. W. van Bemmelen (1) and that of the author (4). In this
connection, on the basis of Esclier's classification, the terms of "constructiv
e " and "destructive" eruptions are introduced into the author's system and
at the same time Escher's ...
