An Aggregation‐Induced Polymerization Poly(Disulfide)‐Drug Nanoplatform for Autoimmune Uveitis Therapy via Inhibiting the cGAS‐STING Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A cationic poly(disulfide)‐drug nanoplatform (LA/DexP) was developed to treat experimental autoimmune uveitis (EAU). With potent blood‐retinal barrier penetrability, LA/DexP releases DSP in response to high ROS and scavenges cfDNA to inhibit the cGAS‐STING signaling pathway.

Ion‐Driven Regulation of Ca2+ Flow by Ti/Zn Composite Activates ERK/MAPK Signaling and Maintains Mitochondrial Homeostasis to Promote Macrophage‐Mediated Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed interpenetrating Ti/Zn composite enables sustained Zn2+ release to regulate intracellular Ca2+ redistribution, preserve mitochondrial homeostasis, activate ERK/MAPK signaling, and promote M2 macrophage polarization, thereby enhancing osteoimmune‐mediated bone regeneration and peri‐implant osseointegration.

A Model for the Crustal Deformations ormations around Volcanoes

open access: yesJournal of Physics of the Earth, 1971
Crustal deformations, accompanied by eruptions of both basaltic and andesitic volcanoes, have proved surprisingly systematic. In 1958, K. MOGI presented a model of pressure source of explosive or implosive types beneath volcanoes in order to interpret the deforma-tions observed at Sakurazima and in Hawaii.

Study on Radioactivity Components, Water Quality and Microstructure Characteristic of Volcano Ash as Geopolymer Artificial Aggregate [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The assessments of radioactivity, water quality testing and microstructure characteristic of volcano ash have been examined. The measurement of the 226Ra, 232Th, 40K, and 238U were carried out using radioactive concentration value.

High‐Entropy Engineering and External Magnetic Field Modulation Synergistically Enhance the H2S Sensing Performance of Rare‐Earth Perovskite Ferrites

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel high‐entropy perovskite oxide, (Gd0.2Tb0.2Dy0.2Ho0.2Er0.2)FeO3, was successfully synthesized for advanced hydrogen sulfide gas detection. By synergistically coupling high‐entropy‐induced local lattice distortion with weak magnetic field modulation, the tailored material generates abundant active sites. This innovative dual strategy dramatically

Effects of Plastic Deformation on the Transport Properties of Rocksalt [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
It has recently been suggested that plastic deformation of rocksalt in nature can lead to the development of significant permeability to fluids, even under fully ductile deformation conditions.

Single‐Cell Transcriptomics and Metabolomics Reveal Glutamate Dehydrogenase as a Central Regulator of Nitrogen Metabolic Remodeling During Alkalinity Adaptation in Crustaceans

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell transcriptomics reveals the cellular response of Macrobrachium hainanense to carbonate alkalinity stress. Alkalinity stress impairs branchial ammonia excretion, induces mitochondrial dysfunction, and drives cell‐type‐specific changes in gills and hemocytes.

Including a pressure dependent relation between static and dynamic elastic moduli in a Finite Element deformation model of Grímsvötn Volcano, Iceland

open access: yesVolcanica
Surface deformation is an important tool for studying active volcanoes. Numerical deformation models can consider irregular features like crustal heterogeneity and avoid biases due to oversimplification. Dynamic elastic moduli can be derived from seismic

Magneto‐NIR‐II‐Programmed Cascade Nanozymes Unlocking Blood–Brain Barrier Translocation and Autophagic Resistance in Glioblastoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Magneto‐NIR‐II‐programmed NFSH nanozymes integrate magnetic blood–brain barrier (BBB) translocation, CD44 targeting, multimodal imaging, and cascade catalytic therapy for glioblastoma. Alternating magnetic fields and NIR‐II irradiation amplify ferroptosis, release H2S, suppress autophagic and mitophagic repair, and reshape the immune microenvironment ...
