Geophysical characterization of hydrothermal systems and intrusive bodies, El Chichón volcano (Mexico) [PDF]
[1] The 1982 explosive eruptions of El Chichón volcano (Chiapas, Mexico) destroyed the inner dome and created a 1-km-wide and 180-m-deep crater within the somma crater.

Sedimentary and volcano-tectonic processes in the British Paleocene Igneous Province: a review [PDF]
Research on the British Paleocene Igneous Province (BPIP) has historically focused on the emplacement, chemistry and chronology of its elaborate central intrusive complexes and lava fields.

Deformation due to a pressurized horizontal circular crack in an elastic half-space, with applications to volcano geodesy [PDF]
We consider deformation due to sill-like magma intrusions using a model of a horizontal circular crack in a semi-infinite elastic solid. We present exact expressions for vertical and horizontal displacements of the free surface of a half-space, and calculate surface displacements for a special case of a uniformly pressurized crack.

Studying the spatiotemporal distribution and motion of water vapour (WV), the most variable greenhouse gas in the troposphere, is pivotal, not only for meteorology and climatology, but for geodesy, too.

Four Years of Continuous Seafloor Displacement Measurements in the Campi Flegrei Caldera
We present 4 years of continuous seafloor deformation measurements carried out in the Campi Flegrei caldera (Southern Italy), one of the most hazardous and populated volcanic areas in the world. The seafloor sector of the caldera has been monitored since

Active volcanism in Colombia and the role of the Servicio Geológico Colombiano
The Servicio Geológico Colombiano (SGC) was created in 1916 and has been dedicated to the research and monitoring of active volcanoes in the country since the disaster resulting from the eruption of Nevado del Ruíz Volcano in 1985, where more than 25000 ...

Laboratory simulations of fluid/gas induced micro-earthquakes:application to volcano seismology [PDF]
Understanding different seismic signals recorded in active volcanic regions allows geoscientists to derive insight into the processes that generate them.

The Prevalence and Significance of Offset Magma Reservoirs at Arc Volcanoes
Determining the spatial relations between volcanic edifices and their underlying magma storage zones is fundamental for characterizing long‐term evolution and short‐term unrest.
