RNN-DAS: A New Deep Learning Approach for Detection and Real-Time Monitoring of Volcano-Tectonic Events Using Distributed Acoustic Sensing [PDF]
In this article, we present a novel Deep Learning model based on Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) with Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) cells, designed as a real-time Volcano-seismic Signal Recognition (VSR) system for Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS) measurements.

MeCP2 lactylation protects against ischemic stroke by reducing brain infarct volume and improving neurological outcomes. Lactylation at K210/K249 exerts neuroprotective effects by repressing the transcription of apoptosis‐associated genes, including Pdcd4 and Pla2g6. HDAC3 and p300 serve as key regulatory enzymes for MeCP2 lactylation following stroke.

Volcano deformation monitoring using GPS [PDF]
Volcanic eruptions are often very destructive events, having a massive impact on the natural and human environment. In order to mitigate the effect of volcanic hazards such as pyroclastic flows, lahars and tsunamis it is necessary to closely monitor volcanoes. Ground surface deformation is recognised as a reliable indicator of an impending eruption and

Diallyl trisulfides (DATs) selectively induce cuproptosis in hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) by targeting Ras‐related protein Rab‐18 (RAB18) and regulating lipophagy. DATs promote RAB18 phase separation, enhance mitochondrial‐associated membrane structures (MAMs) formation, and increase succinylation of dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (DLD) at K320.

A Survey Report on Operating Systems for Tiny Networked Sensors [PDF]
Wireless sensor network (WSN) has attracted researchers worldwide to explore the research opportunities, with application mainly in health monitoring, industry automation, battlefields, home automation and environmental monitoring. A WSN is highly resource constrained in terms of energy, computation and memory.

IR783‐stabilized nanodrugs composed of NIR dye IR783, ROS inducer β‐lapachone, and epigenetic modulator CUDC101 are designed for breast cancer immunotherapy. The nanodrugs can not only promote cancer cell apoptosis through HDAC inhibition‐enhanced oxidation therapy but also reshape the immunosuppressive microenvironment, which provides a novel strategy

Revealing spatio-temporal variations of soil CO2 flux at Mt. Etna volcano
Over the past two decades, significant advances in the geochemical monitoring of volcanoes have shown how crucial the observation of specific geochemical tracers is for understanding and evaluating eruptive processes.

The geochemical monitoring of volcanic activity today relies largely on remote sensing, but the combination of this approach together with soil gas monitoring, using the appropriate parameters, is still not widely used. The main purpose of this study was
