Zweikanal‐Fluoreszenz‐Assays mit supramolekularen Wirt/Farbstoff‐Reporterpaaren zur Kartierung der Membranaktivität von Peptiden

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Factors influencing range contraction of a rodent herbivore in a steppe grassland over the past decades

open access: yesEcology and Evolution, 2022
Climate warming and human disturbance are known to be key drivers in causing range contraction of many species, but quantitative assessment on their distinctive and interactive effects on local disappearance is still rare.

How expensive is vole damage? [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Vole species, especially Arvicola terrestris and Microtus arvalis cause significant economical damage in organic pomiculture by gnawing the root system of trees. The importance of voles as pest organisms is well known.

SSZ‐13‐Zeolith mit Isolierten Co2+‐Zentren als ein Effizientes und Beständiges Katalysatorsystem für die Nichtoxidative Ethandehydrierung

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Plant biomass and prediction of debarking caused by rodents in artificial regeneration of forest stands

open access: yesJulius-Kühn-Archiv, 2011
In the last ten years a strong intention was observed to replace spruce monocultures with mixed coniferous-broadleaved stands close to natural composition. This was accompanied by much higher rodent impact on the broad-leaved plantations than previously.

Ontogeny of the malleus in Mesocricetus auratus (Mammalia, Rodentia): Systematic and functional implications for the muroid middle ear

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract The three mammalian auditory ossicles enhance sound transmission from the tympanic membrane to the inner ear. The anterior anchoring of the malleus is one of the key characters for functional classification of the auditory ossicles. Previous studies revealed a medial outgrowth of the mallear anterior process, the processus internus ...

Nephropathia epidemica and Puumala virus occurrence in relation to bank vole (Clethrionomys glareolus) dynamics and environmental factors in northern Sweden [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
The objectives of the thesis were to investigate the spatio-temporal patterns of nephropathia epidemica (NE) in humans and Puumala virus (PUU) occurrence in relation to bank vole (Clethrionomys glareolus) dynamics and environmental factors in a region of

Long-Term Spatiotemporal Stability and Dynamic Changes in the Haemoparasite Community of Bank Voles (Myodes glareolus) in NE Poland

open access: yesMicrobial Ecology, 2014
Long-term field studies on parasite communities are rare but provide a powerful insight into the ecological and evolutionary processes shaping host–parasite interactions.

New techniques for old bones: Morphometric and diffeomorphometric analysis of the bony labyrinth of the Reilingen and Ehringsdorf Neandertals

open access: yesThe Anatomical Record, EarlyView.
Abstract Neandertals are known to possess very distinctive traits in their bony labyrinth morphology, such as an inferiorly positioned posterior canal and a very low number of turns in the cochlea. Hence, the inner ear has been often used to assess the Neandertal status of fragmentary fossils.
