Faunistic and ecological features of the order Lagomorpha in the Vologda Region, Russia
Two species of the order Lagomorpha inhabit the territory of the Vologda Region (Russia), mountain hare Lepus timidus L.,1758 (common species) and brown hare Lepus europaeus Pallas, 1778 (rare species), as well as their hybrid (“tumak” hare).

Sites with rhomb-pit ceramics in the Vologda Region

In this study, we analysed a ~54‐m sediment core consisting of Quaternary sediments overlying the Neoproterozoic Muhos Formation in central western Finland, adjacent to the Gulf of Bothnia. The sediments recovered were logged, and their sedimentological characteristics defined.
