Voltage Mode Doherty Power Amplifier

IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 2017
This paper presents a new wideband Doherty amplifier technique that can achieve high efficiency while maintaining excellent linearity. By modifying a “forgotten” topology originally proposed by Doherty, a new Doherty amplifier architecture is realized with two voltage mode power amplifiers (PAs) and transformers, thus eliminating a narrowband impedance

CMOS voltage-mode analog multiplier

2006 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2006
This paper proposes a CMOS voltage-mode four-quadrant analog multiplier. It is based on a pair of diode-connected MOS transistor that is biased with a constant current source, and a CMOS voltage difference circuit. Simulation results shows that the linear range is /spl plusmn/400 mV with the linearity error of 0.8% and the harmonic distortion of 0.62%.

Voltage-mode active-only biquad

International Journal of Electronics, 2000
This paper presents a realization of a voltage-mode active-only biquadratic circuit. The proposed circuit is constructed employing solely operational amplifiers and operational transconductance amplifiers (OTAs). The circuit configuration is obtained from a second-order structure with two integrator loops.

Voltage mode OTA based KHN filter

2012 IEEE 55th International Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems (MWSCAS), 2012
Second order filter structures have widespread applications. They are also used in realization of higher order filter. Among the second order filters, KHN (Kerwin, Huelsman, and Newcomb) filter is used as a reference while designing second order filters with other active elements.

Digitally programmable voltage mode universal filter

2017 4th International Conference on Signal Processing and Integrated Networks (SPIN), 2017
A novel single input multiple output (SIMO) voltage-mode (VM) digitally programmable universal filter (DPUF) is proposed in this paper. The proposed biquad is realized using digitally programmable current feedback amplifier (DPCFA) as main analog building block (ABB).

Voltage-Mode Fractional-Order Filters

2017
This chapter presents a voltage-mode technique for realizing fractional-order filters. Low-voltage OTAs are employed as active elements. Fractional-order filters are designed with the additional benefit that different types of filter functions are realized using the same topology. As a result, the resulted filter functions are generalized.

New voltage-mode bandpass shadow filter

2016 13th International Multi-Conference on Systems, Signals & Devices (SSD), 2016
A new voltage-mode bandpass shadow filter is presented. The filter is built around the current-feedback operational-amplifier. The parameters of the filter can be controlled by adjusting the gains of external amplifiers built around the current-feedback operational-amplifier.

VOLTAGE-MODE DDCC-BASED MULTIFUNCTION FILTERS

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2007
Two new voltage-mode multifunction biquadratic filter configurations were proposed. The first proposed high-input impedance multifunction filter with single input and four outputs, which can simultaneously realize voltage-mode low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass filter responses employing all grounded passive components.

CMOS class-AB voltage-mode multiplier

IEEE International Symposium on Communications and Information Technology, 2005. ISCIT 2005., 2006
A novel circuit configuration for a CMOS voltage-mode four-quadrant analog multiplier is described. It is based on square law characteristic of MOS transistor and class-AB amplifier. The multiplier achieves a linearity of 1.1%, -3 dB bandwidth of 35 MHz, and a total harmonic distortion of 0.76%. The power consumption is 1.5 mW.
