A metal halide perovskite‐based photoanode integrated with a CoNiFe layered double hydroxide (LDH) cocatalyst is reported for selective glucose oxidation reaction (GOR), achieving simultaneous and unassisted photoelectrochemical hydrogen production. This system delivers high photocurrent density, excellent Faradaic efficiency of GOR, and strong techno ...

In this paper, a synchronous frame based control method of voltage source converter (VSC) for superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) is presented. The model and the feedforward decoupling method are described. The design of the regulators is depicted in detail. Simulations and experiments are both demonstrate the studies.

Managing microgrid power generation by using back to back voltage source convertor
The paper presents an algorithm for managing a microgrid which connected to the main grid via Back To Back Voltage Source Converter (BTB VSC) which can exchange power with adjacent grid. The proposed microgrid consists of a wind turbine generation unit, two photovoltaics generation units, a storage system, a fuel cell generation unit, a micro turbine ...

This paper introduces a simplified method for estimating switching energy losses in an IGBT device of a Voltage Source Converter (VSC) using Electro-Magnetic Transient (EMT) simulations. By considering the switching process as characterized by an equivalent circuit model of a unit cell that represents one leg of a VSC, equations are derived to evaluate

The paper presents a novel control strategy for the output DC current in a three-phase AC/DC convertor using diodes, combined with a boost-type DC chopper. This contributes to the suppression of the output voltage ripples so that the size of the filter capacitor can be minimised.
