MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

A voltage‐controlled resistor for a linear voltage‐controlled oscillator

Electronics and Communications in Japan (Part II: Electronics), 1996
AbstractTo realize a linear voltage‐controlled oscillator (VCO), a voltage‐controlled resistor (VCR) whose reciprocal resistance is linear with respect to the control voltage Vcwas fabricated and tested. The VCR was composed of an analog multiplier (AM) and an operational amplifier (OA). The. static effective resistanceReof the VCR varied asR−1e=R−1(1 +
