Automatic generation of an LC voltage controlled oscillator [PDF]
textA Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) is used to generate a signal with a frequency that is a function of an input voltage amplitude, and is an integral part of circuits such as phase locked loops, frequency synthesizers, down conversion receivers ...

Adaptivity of voltage-controlled oscillators - theory and design
Analog RF front-end circuits are typically designed to perform one specific task, while key parameters such as dynamic range, bandwidth and selectivity are fixed by the hardware design and not by the communication system in an adaptive way. As a result, today's receiver topologies are designed to function under the most stringent conditions, which ...

Switchable Magnonic Crystals Based on Spin Crossover/CrSBr Heterostructures
Multiscale modeling is employed to investigate the functionality of a light‐controlled, tunable magnonic crystal based on spin‐crossover Fe‐pz molecules integrated with a monolayer of CrSBr. Ab initio simulations confirm that the molecules remain functional on the CrSBr surface, while a semiclassical elastic model demonstrates that light‐induced ...

Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

On-Chip Voltage Controlled Oscillator for Clock Data Recovery Systems
As the clock rates of microprocessors keep increasing, high data rate input/output (IO) should be designed to realize their maximum benefit. However, designing robust, low power, high speed IO links is very challenging due to the increased transmission ...

Soft Hardware, Flowing Software: Reconfigurable Microfluidics for Adaptable Chemical Computation
A reconfigurable microfluidic platform based on soft, photo‐printable, and chemically erasable hydrogel structures printed and erased in situ is used to control flow routing, mixing, chemical patterning, and even chemical computing. Using hardware to control chemical computations decouples logic function from molecular composition, demonstrated via ...

Atomic Layer Deposition of Metallic Molybdenum Dioxide Thin Films Enabling High‐k Rutile Capacitors
The first direct atomic layer deposition (ALD) process of molybdenum dioxide (MoO2) thin films is reported using molybdenum(II) acetate dimer (Mo2(OAc)4) and oxygen (O2) as precursors at 235°C–275°C. The films are crystalline, exceptionally pure, and conductive.
