Analysis and design of high performance voltage- doubler rectifier
2010 5th IEEE Conference on Industrial Electronics and Applications, 2010This paper analyses and designs a new soft-switching single-phase high power factor voltage-doubler rectifier. The proposed rectifier combines the conventional pulse-width-modulation technique, soft commutation technique and instantaneous average line current control to promote the circuit performance.

Circuit topologies for single-phase voltage-doubler boost rectifiers
IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, 1993A new family of single-phase voltage-doubler PWM (pulse width modulated) boost rectifiers is presented. By examining the switching states of several standard single-phase boost rectifier circuits, three characteristic PWM voltage switching patterns are identified: unipolar PWM; bipolar PWM; and phase-adjusted unipolar PWM.
